How We Protect Your Designs and Data
Your drawings, CAD files, and project information are treated as confidential assets. Here is exactly how they are handled.
For custom and non-standard work, the drawing is often the client’s most sensitive asset. We built our process so that sending us a file is lower-risk than sending it to a shop that treats every project as a commodity.
Who can access your files
Access is limited to named personnel assigned to your project — for example, the project engineer, CAM programmer, and quality engineer working on it. A current access list is available on request at any time. No sales staff, other project teams, or third parties have access.
Where your files live
Design files are stored on local, offline-access-controlled company servers — never on public cloud drives by default. Files are not uploaded to third-party platforms, AI tools, or shared workspaces without your written consent. Encrypted transfer is available on request.
Laboratory & R&D isolation
Our engineering & academic R&D backing supports material validation, process trials, and failure analysis. Client project data is isolated from research records — your materials, test results, and design data are never used in published research, marketing, or other clients’ projects without your explicit written permission.
Retention & destruction
Upon project completion, files are retained for the period defined in our agreement for traceability and warranty support, then permanently deleted. Earlier destruction is available on request and confirmed in writing.
A note on case studies
Because most of our work is under client NDA, you will not see named client projects on this site. That is deliberate: if we published your parts, we would be the kind of partner you could not trust. What we can share — how we solve hard manufacturing problems, and what our numbers look like in aggregate — is on our Engineering Notes page. For your specific industry, ask us directly and we can share relevant anonymized references under NDA.
